About TPC

In 1958, while in high school, Stewart Senter installed an in-ground lawn sprinkler at his parents’ home in Oceanside, a novelty at the time. Soon, everyone on his block wanted one and a business was born. Stew then expanded into town park development where he built his first tennis court. Another business was born.

In the seventies, tennis became very popular and anyone with the space wanted a court in their backyard. Tennis Planning became the leading tennis court contractor on Long Island. Incorporating swimming pools, landscaping, and total site development was a natural progression as our customers desired more in their dream backyard. Decades later, this homegrown company became the most sought-after on Long Island. We’re called Tennis Planning because tennis construction was our first foray into site-development. Tennis Planning became a household name, but we do much more.
